Ruthy Dahan-Portnoy is a researcher and innovator in the commercial real estate investment domain.

Together with my collogues, we published some articles in the ‘Journal oF Corporate Finance’.

After 14 years of analyzing and rating corporate bonds at Standard &Poor’s, we, at Risespot, ‘rate’ Tracts, across the U.S., by Expected Capital Gains Score.

Similar to bond ratings, Risespot’s score consolidates all relevant data using a comparable methodology.

Building Analytical Capabilities at Standard & Poor's

For 14 years, Ruthy headed the rating team of corporate bonds and structured products (MBS, CMBS etc.). She was also part of developing new rating methodology for new financial products.

Prior to that, while serving as an economist at the Israel Securities Authority (Israel’s equivalent of the SEC), she co-authored several articles with her colleagues that were published in the ‘Journal of Corporate Finance’.

Building Business Capabilities at Boards

Since 2013, Ruthy serves as a Board Member and Committees’ Chairwoman (on behalf of the Board) in diversified corporate.

This role requires a deep understanding of all aspects of company management, active involvement in critical decision-making, and oversight of leadership performance.
